Bonemass — the third boss of the game, a Forsaken from the Swamp biome. A mess of black soil and old bone, thankfully quiet now.
Where to find
Bonemass’s Altar
The boss waits at Bonemass’s Altar in the Swamp biome. There are several such places in the world, up to 5.
The altar is in the Swamp. It is shown by vegvisirs in sunken crypts and swamp ruins.
How to summon
×10 Place 10× withered bone on the altar. The boss appears about 12 seconds after the offering, so eat first and stand where you have room to retreat.

Preparation - Be sure to drink a poison resistance mead: Bonemass and the swamp poison you constantly.
In the fight - Bonemass summons skeletons and blobs: clear them so they don’t surround you.
Good to know - The altar is in the swamp, so a raised patch of ground or a walkway around it makes the fight much easier.
