Durability
Every use takes one point of durability. When it runs out, the tool does not break; it simply stops working until you repair it.
The hammer builds, the hoe levels, the cultivator plants, the scythe harvests. Add the fishing rod, the butcher knife, the snow shovel and the grappling hook. Everything that is not for fighting, but that you cannot survive without.
Every use takes one point of durability. When it runs out, the tool does not break; it simply stops working until you repair it.
Repairs are free at the station where the tool is crafted: the Hammer and the Hoe at the workbench, the Cultivator and the Scythe at the forge. Walk up to the station and press repair.
Upgrading at a station adds durability. Beyond the maximum, the hammer, hoe, cultivator, scythe and snow shovel can be raised with a wooden battle idol at the Forge of Potential.
Most are crafted. The Fishing Rod is sold by Haldor, the Serving Tray by the Bog Witch, and the Salvaged Lantern is found in the Deep North.
The cultivator, scythe and snow shovel train the Farming skill, and the fishing rod trains Fishing. A skill makes the work easier and faster.
